The period is ideal for the sighting of the great herds in the Serengeti plains and in the Masai Mara, where thousands of ungulates give birth to 300,000 to 400,000 cubs in a few weeks; and where there are puppies, predators are never far away. It is also a great time for the heavenly beaches of East Africa: Zanzibar, Pemba and Mafia Island. The conditions are also perfect for diving and snorkeling with harmless whale sharks.

The last month of EA's short dry season, March is a good time to visit Kenya and Tanzania, that offer wildlife-rich safaris, without the tourist masses. The calving season is still underway, which indirectly involves also large predators that take the opportunity to feed on easy and young prey.
As for the western area of Tanzania, from March to June the chimpanzees move less, and it is therefore easier to spot them.

The best time to visit Mozambique is from May to October. For a beach holiday May, September and October are preferable when temperatures are high even in the evening, since between June and August the minimums can drop considerably. The days in this season are therefore pleasant and sunny.

In this park, the rivers offer a great abundance of sustenance for the many animals: the main attraction are the hippos that throng in incredible numbers, sometimes reaching 200 together.

In November, with the advent of the rains, the crater itself comes to life in a carpet of lush green and emerald green.
Also, in southern Tanzania, the rains tend to arrive a little later than in other areas.
